‘Tis the day for resolutions, right?

Things we’ve been thinking about for some time… until we arrived at the logical calendar-based conclusion.

Aha. This will be my New Year’s resolution. I’ll wait to start until January 2013.

It’s a culturally acceptable form of Q4 procrastination.

Well, it’s here now.

The time has come.

My 2013 resolution involves three things I am passionate about: Reading, Writing, and You.

My goal for next year is to READ 52 books, WRITE a brief post for each with the goal of providing value to YOU – my dear reader.

What 52 books do I plan on reading?

I don’t really know. Not exactly. There won’t be a strict agenda. When it comes to reading, I follow my nose.  There will be plenty of business books to be sure, but also biographies (I’ve been working my way backwards on the US Presidents. Eisenhower is on deck…) and some fiction titles from time to time.

Hopefully I can filter some potential books you are considering reading and recommend some other good ones.

If you have requests, feel free to send them my way. If your New Year’s Resolution happens to be Start reading trusted book reviews prior to book purchases to eliminate wasted time and money… well now, it sounds like this will be a good fit for us.

Happy New Year!
